WHY USE CCTV?
CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) refers to a network of cameras or recording equipment — usually operating continuously, and directly linked to one another.

It is used to closely monitor or record events, to provide a strong deterrent for illegal or undesirable activity, and to add an additional layer of security in the event of an accident, crime, or security breach.

It can also be used for safety purposes, ensuring that your personnel are safe, secure, and supported.

HOW WE CAN HELP
At KCS Projects, we offer two distinct types of highly effective CCTV camera systems: IP Camera Systems and HD Analogue Systems. The two vary in the type of recording equipment they use, but they are equally robust, reliable, and commonplace.

Both systems offer high-definition footage as well as playback and time search facilities — allowing you to review footage from a specific time frame with ease and precision. This is especially useful for reviewing a particular incident and then formulating a response or plan of action.

The systems also have compatible accompanying apps that offer remote viewing on your smart device. This means that you are always able to view the camera recordings, individually or together, wherever you are — even when not on site.

Many clients find this an invaluable feature if an alarm is activated when they are not present. The footage can be reviewed immediately, an assessment made of whether this is a false alarm or an emergency, and action quickly taken.
Our Systems

We offer CCTV security systems in a range of sizes, to suit the scale of your business and operation. 4 way, 6 way, 8 way, 16 way, and 32 way systems are all available, allowing you to be as focused and thorough on your property as you wish.
Our HD Analogue Systems
​
The HD Analogue System uses a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) with a hard drive to record footage. We can discuss the size of the hard drive that you require depending on how much playback and storage of footage you may need.
The HD Analogue System also requires a power supply. Whether this will be a dedicated power supply per camera, or a single power supply with multiple outlets, is up to you, depending on what is most appropriate for your business.
We can create a bespoke solution for you and your business that takes into consideration how many cameras would be suitable for your site, and how large the hard drive would need to be to capture your desired footage. For example, clients who wish to keep recordings for two weeks may have different needs from those who only require footage for 48 hours.

Our IP Camera Systems

The IP Camera system uses a Network Video Recorder (NVR) and hard drive to record footage, and is powered using Power Over Ethernet (POE) from the NVR unit.
​
As with the HD Analogue System, the IP Camera system provides reliable, high-quality footage that can be reviewed whenever required. The scale of the camera coverage and the length of recording can also be discussed with us and configured to suit your individual needs and circumstances.
CASE STUDY: RESIDENTIAL HOME CCTV COVERAGE
KCS Projects regularly delivers outstanding safety and security solutions to a variety of public, private, and commercial spaces.
​
We successfully provided a comprehensive and bespoke CCTV solution for a large residential home facility, featuring multiple rooms and additional outdoor spaces. It was especially important to provide a CCTV solution that ensured the safety of residents — who on occasion had been difficult to locate, or may even have been injured and waiting for a member of staff to find them.
​
We installed a powerful Analogue HD CCTV System - that was operational 24/7 - to equip staff with a full vision of the facility at all times. The office was installed with a highly visible 50” LED monitor screen along with a digital video recorder, allowing staff to monitor, observe, and play back footage whenever required.
​
Several smaller and accessible 19” screens were all installed in other key areas around the facility to enable comprehensive monitoring of the site.
​
In total, 32 operational cameras have been installed throughout key areas of the facility to help ensure full security and safety for residents and staff. These include main entrances, corridors, the reception lobby, communal rooms, and outdoor seating areas.
​
This setup ensures that individual privacy is well maintained while also allowing for comprehensive and effective monitoring of key spaces. Residents and staff can feel safe, seen, and protected.

Our installed system can also be viewed remotely when not on site, simply by logging into the secure online system via a smart device.
